Ron Houchens

Ron has 30 years of professional experience and attended Hot Rod Bettie's Tattoo School, one of the country's top tattoo schools. He also taught basic color theory at Oregon Community College. Ron specializes in custom tattoos and coverup tattoos and has an incredible talent for mimicking other styles.

Ron believes that tattoos have the power to positively change your self-perception and to positively change the perception others have of you as well.

Arenal Hruby aka Bon Fabrik

Growing up on farmland in Connecticut, I spent my childhood painting and drawing in my Grandmother’s barn. After moving across the country to Oregon, I started taking illustration classes at thirteen. After continuing my education, I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Technology from The University of Oregon here in Eugene. Throughout the year following, I realized that working in corporate design diluted my passion for art, and sought change. After discovering tattooing, I rediscovered my love of concept art and found my new preferred medium: skin.

The core kingdoms of my artistic practice are animation, film, illustration, digital imaging, and most recently, using bodies as canvases. I am most fulfilled when making art that aesthetically rests in the gutter between awe and disgust, and often uses fungi, femininity, and fear as subjects. Making art allows me to escape perfectionism and process demure and morbid realities in vivid saturated color. I see my artistic process as “productive escapism” and seek to immerse others into my daydreams.

I am an independent and highly organized individual supportive of all people and possibilities. I love doing vivid colorwork, gradients, and high contrast pieces. My goal as a tattoo artist is to tackle anything a client wants with confidence, excitement, and professionalism.

Ava Martin

Hello! I’m Ava, I grew up in Northern California and moved to Eugene when I was 17. Though I LOVE a rainbow, I’m a black and grey artist at heart. I fell in love with tattooing because of the unique connection it creates between artist and canvas. I specialize in tattooing fine line black and grey, typography, surrealism, micro realism, and illustrative pieces.
